This gathering gives us the opportunity to meet, thank and recognize our members and friends for their continued support of the Environmental Education Center and its programs. As we continually strive to expand and improve our programs in all areas we appreciate all the support we receive from our Members and Friends. We are pleased to be given the opportunity on this night to be able to recognize individuals and groups who have contributed to our environmental education effort in Monroe County.
The Stanley Becker Environmental Resource Scholarship is also awarded the night of the dinner. Stanley Becker was a long-time member of the EE Center. The Stanley Becker Environmental Resource Scholarship was established by his wife, Stella and family, to recognize an outstanding Monroe County High School student who has chosen to pursue an environmental major at college.
Along with this scholarship, this night recognizes individuals from throughout Monroe County and its’ school districts for the hard work towards environmental education and conservation awareness. We look forward to this night every year and enjoy celebrating with you, our members and friends!
