Monroe County Conservation District:
Administrative Coordinator ($17.71/hour)
The Monroe County Conservation District is seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Administrative Coordinator. This position performs a variety of clerical, receptionist, and administrative support functions essential to the daily operations of the Conservation District.
The successful candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED, along with at least one (1) year of experience in administrative or clerical support, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. The ideal candidate is a dependable team player with excellent communication and organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a professional office environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Access, Publisher, Word, and Excel, is required. Kettle Creek Environmental Education Center:
Internship
Kettle Creek Environmental Education Center, a program of the Monroe County Conservation District, invites passionate and motivated individuals to join our dynamic education team. We will work directly with you and your school or university to ensure compliance with any required internship guidelines.
Kettle Creek Environmental Education Center (KCEEC)’s Education Internship is an immersive and flexible experience in environmental education, designed to align with each student’s individual interests, skills, and career goals. Interns will gain experience in essential functions of an education center like creating and facilitating programming for diverse audiences in indoor and outdoor classroom spaces. As part of our collaborative department, interns will design and complete a personalized internship project that contributes to the advancement of KCEEC’s mission and vision. By the conclusion of the internship, students will have a strong understanding of the daily operations of an environmental education center, along with practical, customized experience gained as part of an enthusiastic, mission-driven team. Environmental Education Internships are available year-round.
