The Monroe County Conservation District is pleased to continue a scholarship opportunity for graduating Monroe County seniors planning on pursuing a college degree in an environmental field. The Stanley Becker Environmental Resource Scholarship has been established by the Monroe County Conservation District in cooperation with the family of Stanley Becker. Mr. Becker was a local citizen who valued the natural resources of Monroe County and as a memorial a scholarship fund has been established in his name. The scholarship will be awarded in the spring to a graduating senior.
Available to any Monroe County high school senior continuing his/her education in an environmental resource/conservation related field.
Application deadline for 2022-2023 is Friday, March 31st, 2023.
