Please be advised, the Department of Environmental Protection is suspending the time frames for providing permit decisions established in the Policy for Implementing the Department of Environmental Protection Permit Review Process and Permit Decision Guarantee due to the office closures related to Coronavirus (COVID-19). Please note that DEP and CCD staff will continue to process received permit applications. However; due to operational conditions, applicants may experience delays receiving decisions. DEP will provide emergency authorizations for projects that are critical to public health and safety.
Monroe County Conservation District serves as a community clearinghouse for natural resource conservation information and educational materials, as well as state and federal regulatory and permit information in regard to Pa Title 25 Chapter 102 Erosion Control and Chapter 105 Waterway Obstruction and Encroachments.
The District is also a resource for environmental mapping, technical manuals and guidance on land use and watershed planning as well as conservation design for residential and commercial development.
Pre-application, project planning, as well as technical assistance meetings and site visits are encouraged and available with District free of charge.
