Bug Fest

Thanks for a great 2022!  We'll beeeee seeing you in 2023!
Bug Fest is a celebration of insects! And great fun for families with children ages 4 – 12! This annual festival will be held on Saturday, July 9.  Join us for the morning session from 9:30am-12pm or the afternoon session from 12:30pm-3:00pm at the Kettle Creek Environmental Education Center in Bartonsville.  Families are invited to come out and have some buggy fun with live critters, displays, games, and take home crafts all about our six legged friends! Activities include insect safaris, a butterfly tent, live insects, insect collections, painting with maggots and games.

The winners of our first Bug Fest Art contest will also be revealed.  Art from this contest will be on display in the gallery during the month of July.   Find out more about the contest here.

Preregistration is required and limited.  Cost: $5/child ages 4 - 12.  Come dressed as your favorite bug and receive a discount on admission price!  Parents can attend for FREE.
