This tour will highlight nature-based design practices, green infrastructure techniques, and discuss the environmental and financial benefits of adopting these unique approaches to stormwater management. Participants will be visiting several locations throughout Monroe County that are currently implementing these practices with great success and have embraced all of the benefits they provide.
We are inviting township supervisors, community leaders, engineers, residents, and anyone interested in how environmentally-conscious development can support both resource protection and economic development.
Come join us for this enjoyable and informative trip that will allow you to better engage in the planning process, at any level, and gain a greater understanding of how we can implement various design techniques to improve the overall health of the Monroe County Landscape.
