Have an unforgettable evening at Kettle Creek's Friday night fall festival. Join us for activities centered around the fall season and nocturnal animal life. We'll end our evening by setting out for a night hike on our trails and making s'mores around a campfire.

Kettle Creek along with Pocono Avian Research Center will host the seventh season of Project Owlnet. The station will be open 10/16 and 11/6. Participants will learn more about the Northern Saw-whet Owl, Project Owlnet, and may have the opportunity to see one of the most secretive birds.

The Tannersville Cranberry Bog Preserve is much bigger than just the bog. Join this guided hike to observe a meadow ecosystem managed with prescribed fire. Attendees will meet at the Cranberry Bog parking lot and take the Kettle Creek shuttle bus to the trail head. Please allow 2 ½ hours

The Tannersville Bog Stewardship Committee along with The Nature Conservancy is sponsoring their annual Bog Day. This day features a guided walk on the boardwalk as well as information on the bog and light refreshments.

Beyond the plants and animals, there's another world of life at the bog. Explore the unique lives of the mushrooms, puffballs, stinkhorns, and other fungi who call this wetland home. This walk is designed to introduce beginner mushroom hunters to the art and science of mushroom identification.
